Committees

AMBASSADORS are the right arm of the Chamber and assist with a number of functions, including Welcome Ceremonies, Calling Parties, Office Assistance and Event Planning... just to name a few!

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT partners assist in every aspect of community development in respect to the Chamber of Commerce. Economic Development is a broad catagory of pursuits, that includes Business Development & Support, Tourism, Beautification and touches on each of the other listed committees in some way or another, as it is believed Economic Development works hand-in-hand with these areas.

EDUCATION committee members act as Chamber eyes and ears to reflect any needs of our school system that might be met via our Chamber or Chamber Members.

EVENT PLANNING is an active committee that is fully responsible for the development, planning and execution of some of Cleveland's biggest events!

LEGISLATIVE representatives are crucial in our Chamber of Commerce. This committee will update the Chamber Board on all business or Chamber-related issues and represent the Chamber in meetings that impact our business and area community.

RETAIL / PROFESSIONAL partners are a force, of mostly local professionals, who volunteer their voices to any given Chamber issue. If it affects our business community, the Retail/Professional committee is the collective voice of the Retail / Professional sect.

TOURISM is a constant need of any community. While we certainly relish in our small-town atmosphere, we must be open to visitors of all sorts for the prosperity of Cleveland. This means establishing a group of insightful individuals who have the ability to visualize programs that will encourage new friends to "Come Home to Cleveland."

As you can see, it takes many to run a successful Chamber and many points of view to see the big picture of any given situation. The more people who involve themselves in the happenings of the Cleveland Chamber, the more our community benefits. Never hesitate to share your thoughts or opinions with the Chamber, and if any of the above committees speak to your interests, we hope you will become involved and help make the difference that only YOU can make!
