CLEVELAND IS THE CATFISH CAPITOL OF THE WORLD!
Cleveland hosted the First Annual Keystone Catfish Festival at Feyodi on June 6, 2009.
This full day of FUN included a $1750 Catfish Contest* ($1000 First Place; $500 Second Place; and $250 for Third Place), All-You-Can-Eat Fish Fry (with Taster's Choice Award given to those serving the BEST Catfish), 5K Fun Run/Walk Benefiting the Triangle Heritage Museum, Kid's Carnival & Free Games, Plus Arts & Crafts*, Dunk Tank and Live Entertainment featuring Thomas Martinez!

The BRANSON COMEDY FESTIVAL ALL-STARS was a huge hit! The Community Service Center delivered the goods via Tymon Shipp, Marian Kelly, Tommy Kelley & Kent Radar. And the return of Alvin and the Chipmunks - True Hollywood Story-style... now, that was too funny. Proceeds benefited Special Olympics.

CONGRATULATIONS! A $1,000 donation was given to the Lake Area Blue Star Mothers through The News on 6 Community Spirit Award. Readers of the Cleveland American were invited to nominate any community non-profit organization to receive the endowment. Travis Meyer and other members of The News on 6 Warn Team spent most of the day in Cleveland, conducting Warn Team Weather Camps at Cleveland schools and broadcasted weather live from the high school gym during the 5P and 6P newscasts.
